I wanted to baby-fy it a bit, so I changed the neckline, raised the buttons, and pasteled the color pallet. The fabric all came from my stash.

The jacket is made from an old tufted velvet, s an old upholstery fabric with flowers and leaves in tufted velvet. I crocheted the sergeant pepper frogs for the buttons out of chenille cord and hand stitched them on. The whole thing is lined with this green sagey poly crap that looks shiny but has an odd feel to it.
By rights I should have made at least a chirka under layer, but just two felt like pushing patience in this climate.
